Montessori Art Book Project: Submission Guidelines

🌿 Now Accepting Submissions: Montessori Art Book Project

We are currently gathering artwork for our upcoming Montessori-inspired art book — a collaborative collection celebrating child-led creativity, observation, and meaningful work.

We welcome submissions from:

  • Artists inspired by Montessori principles
  • Montessori students and alumni
  • Educators and guides
  • Families

We’re inviting children, parents, educators, and artists to contribute artwork to our upcoming Montessori-inspired art book.

This book celebrates:

  • Life and Philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori
  • Miracle of the developing child

Whether you are a Montessori student, guide, or supporter of child-led learning, we’d love to see your work.


🎨 What We’re Looking For

We welcome artwork that reflects Montessori values, including:

  • Nature studies (plants, animals, landscapes)
  • Everyday practical life moments
  • Cultural studies & global perspectives
  • Hands at work
  • Peace, grace, and courtesy themes
  • Child-led exploration
  • Mixed media, watercolor, sculpture, pencil, collage, or photography

  • A completed application with high resolution (300 DPI) image as JPEG or PNG (Minimum 2000px on longest side)
  • A completed Application and Contributor Agreement

✍️ Usage & Rights

By submitting artwork, you confirm that:

  • The work is original
  • You have permission to submit it
  • You grant us non-exclusive rights to publish it in print and digital formats for this project

Selected artists will be notified by email.

AI Artwork Policy

Our Montessori Art Book celebrates authentic, hands-on creative expression aligned with Montessori principles of independence and self-directed learning.

To maintain the integrity of this project:

1. Submissions must be original work created by the artist.

2. Fully AI-generated artwork will not be accepted.

3. Limited AI assistance (such as minor editing or color correction) must be disclosed.

4. The submitting artist must hold full rights to the final image.

5. Any submission found to violate this policy may be removed from consideration or publication.

We reserve the right to request process images or clarification regarding the creation of submitted artwork.
